How Whipedia Works
Whipedia is a vehicle marketplace built around simple ideas: real prices, real photos, no spam from dealers, no commission for private sellers.
For buyers
Search the way you actually shop
Filter by location, body style, price, mileage, year, make/model — or just browse "Today's Picks" near you.
See fair-price assessments
Every listing shows whether the price is great, fair, or above market — based on live data, not stale book values.
Contact the seller directly
No middleman, no lead-spam to 10 dealerships. Message goes to the actual dealer or private seller. They respond, you talk.
Verify the history
We link to free CarFax reports where available, and surface accident/title flags directly in the listing card.
For sellers
Private sellers: Free listings, no commission, your contact info stays private until you choose to share it. Start your listing →
Dealerships: Flat monthly subscription, unlimited listings, no per-lead charges. Dealer info →
What makes us different
- One price label per listing. Not "this dealer says good, that dealer says fair." One assessment from us, calculated the same way for every vehicle.
- No phone-spam. Your number isn't shared with sellers until you choose to share it.
- No fake listings. We pull from verified dealer inventories and verify private sellers' identity before publishing.
- Real photos. We filter out stock photos and "image coming soon" placeholders from the inventory grid by default.
Coverage
Whipedia operates in the US (whipedia.com) and Canada (whipedia.ca) with localized pricing in USD and CAD respectively. Inventory updates daily across both markets.
